There really is nothing Rihanna can’t do. Her songs break records, while her partnership with Puma, Fenty Beauty and her lingerie line Savage x Fenty rake in the sales and the accolades for their inclusivity. Now Rihanna has entered into a deal with mega fashion conglomerate LVMH to create a new luxury line based in Paris debuting for Spring 2019.

The partnership is a big deal in itself, but the fact that Rihanna is the first woman to create an original brand under the LVMH umbrella is just as significant. “Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together,” the singer/designer/beauty mogul/actress declared in a statement posted to LVMH’s site.

We’re expecting big things from the new brand and so is LVMH. “Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH,” said Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH.

In the video, she talks about the quality of the concealer saying, “Especially with a formula like this that dries down and mattifies eventually, you expect it to start getting tacky and paint up, but this formula does not.” Even better, existing Fenty foundation customers can find their perfect concealer shade to match.

In the video, RiRi reveals that the product was inspired by her 2016 “Kiss It Better” video where her shimmer game was on point. “We created this really special formula, it’s really solid, but it also feels like there’s a bit of liquid, a bit of like a smooth, creamy undertone with all the shimmer on the top,” she says in the tutorial.

If you’ve seen Vogue’s video of Rihanna doing her makeup, chances are, you want to learn more from the Barbadian beauty. And for $1,497 you can — that is, if you can travel to Dubai this September.

Flying to the UAE this month, the mother of Fenty Beauty will be teaching her first makeup masterclass, dubbed the Fenty Beauty Artistry & Beauty Talk, on September 29, in partnership with Sephora. A day-long affair, the venue has yet to be announced, but it is certain that special appearances will be made by Rihanna’s makeup artists Priscilla Ono and Hector Espinal, who will share exclusive tips and tricks, according to Gulf News.

While the ticket package may be costly — ranging from $1,497 to $ 2,042 — the proceeds will benefit Dubai Cares, an organization that aims to “break the cycle of poverty” by giving children access to quality education.
