Teddy Quinlivan Is the New Face of Chanel Beauty

Back in 2017, runway favorite Teddy Quinlivan came out as transgender even though it might mean losing a few fans and brands in the process. Cut to 2019 and we’re happy to report that Teddy keeps breaking down barriers. Her latest triumph? Becoming the first openly trans person to represent Chanel in an advertising campaign.

“When I came out I knew I’d stop working with some brands, I thought I’d never work with the iconic house of Chanel ever again,” the model posted on Instagram.

The news is especially exciting since we recently reported that transgender and non-binary representation in ads fell to its lowest point in three years. In the just released ads, Teddy touts everything from lipsticks to bronzer for Chanel Beauty in grand fashion. We only hope she follows this major coup up with more campaigns and runway appearances for Spring 2020.

Check out the video above to see how Teddy gets that perfect-for-summer bronzed glow.
