You’ll Either Love or Loathe Léa Seydoux’s Vanity Fair France Cover for December 2023/January 2024

More often than not, Léa Seydoux is one of those actresses who just knows how to work a camera lens. Whether she’s fronting magazines like British Harper’s Bazaar or ELLE France – Seydoux’s covers usually receive a standing ovation here on theFashionSpot. Always a one to support homegrown talent, Vanity Fair France welcomes the French actress onto their final issue of the year for December 2023/January 2024. In the polished and immaculate cover image lensed by Nikolas Lorieux, stylist Alexandra Imgruth opted to dress Léa in a look designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton (for not-so-obvious reasons). Imgruth also selected a show-stopping and statement diamond necklace from Francesca Amfitheatrof’s latest Louis Vuitton high-jewelry collection to finish off the cover look.

Per usual, the all-important question remained immediately upon the cover dropping: were our forum members an impressed bunch? “What in the Madame Tussaud is going on?” quizzed Freespirit.

“Looks like overly-Photoshopped bathroom selfie,” avonlea002 critiqued.

PowerDroid felt the same way, exclaiming: “The retouching is so amateurish, what the heck!”

“Not this lighting…” shrieked blurorchid in total disbelief.

Ihhbl simply described the whole entire outcome as “catastrophic”.

“Must be the only one who is able to tolerate this! I’m kinda into it, feels somewhat festive and celebratory which I can appreciate for an end-of-year issue and I just love how polished and immaculate-looking everything is. Sure, I’ve seen better but this is certainly one of the better magazine covers I’ve came across this month…” reasoned vogue28.

“It’s nice but it could’ve/should’ve been better,” stated WAVES.
